Between 2006 and 2013, federal, state and local law enforcement agencies in Texas received $181.99 million in military surplus equipment through the 1033 program.
Agencies received $107.47 million in consumable items, like boots and electronics, and $74.52 million in controlled property, like weapons and armored vehicles.
